The TVET Professional Ipoh Programme and TIC Open Day was successfully held on 10 July 2023 (Monday) at TT Hall, TIC, focusing on TVET programmes offered to SPM school leavers.
Nearly 200 guests attended the event, including educators, industry representatives, government agencies, educational institutions, TIC students, school students, parents, SPM leavers, members of the public, and many others.
The programme was officiated by Tuan Mohamad Hamidi bin Baharuddin, Political Secretary to the Honourable Menteri Besar of Perak.
During the event, a Strategic Collaboration Ceremony was also conducted with industry partners, youth partners, and education industry partners. These collaborative partnerships aim to develop high-quality, competitive students who are able to contribute to national development.
The TVET Ipoh Programme is an important initiative in preparing the younger generation with skills and knowledge relevant to the current job market. The objective of the TVET Professional Ipoh Programme is to facilitate student placement in TVET fields under the Perak Sejahtera 2030 Plan, in line with the vision of Ipoh as a TVET City.
